A Low PIM coaxial attenuator is an electronic device precisely designed to reduce the power of a RF signal without disturbing or decreasing the waveform of the signal significantly, and is able to block out unwanted signals generated by the non-linear mixing of 2 or more frequencies. Topwave Telecom series of high power low PIM attenuators cover a broad frequency range from 698 to 2700MHz, while delivering high power.


Topwave model TPW-LPATT50-XX-740-160-41F(XX means attenuation in dB), a 50watt 698-4000MHz high power coaxial fixed RF attenuator with low PIM -160dBc. Such high power low PIM attenuators, whose wide frequency range allows use with multiband and broadband antennas as well as leaky cable systems. The high power handling makes these attenuators well-suited for use with wireless base stations. The attenuators have been designed and constructed with minimal solder joints which assures the correct dissipative loss and enhances the overall reliability.
