A Dummy Load is a device used to simulate an electrical load during testing. In an RF System a dummy load is used to simulate an antenna. By using a dummy load instead of an actual antenna, the transceiver can be tested and configured without radiating radio waves. It is a device used to simulate an electrical load, usually for testing purposes.


Topwave model TPW-T25-3-DM, a 25 watt DC-3GHz RF load with 7/16DIN male connector. The load VSWR is 1.15, and available with type N, 7/16, 4.3-10 connector in stocks.25W RF Termination Load is used in a wide variety of measurement systems; any port of a multi-port microwave device that is not involved in the measurement should be terminated in its characteristic impedance in order to ensure an accurate measurement.
