In radar and radio communications systems, it isolates the receiver from the  transmitter while permitting them to share a common antenna. Most radio repeater systems include a duplexer. Duplexers can be based on frequency polarization, or timing.


A Duplexer is a 3-port device that allows the transmitter and receiver to use a single antenna, while operating at the same/similar frequencies. Topwave model TPW-DP-6927-NF-153, a 690-960 & 1710-2170MHz RF duplexer with N female connector. The parameter PIM can avoid mutual signals interference effectively when different channel signals. The units work well with low VSWR, low insertion loss, good PIM and high isolation.
